InspireDrop v1.0.9 Is Live
I’ve been working on one thing lately: making InspireDrop feel like a habit, not a “cool tool you open twice and forget”.
v1.0.9 is a version I’m genuinely happy with. It doesn’t win by adding random features. It wins by making a few high-frequency moments feel smoother, calmer, and more native to macOS.
What’s new
Zen Space
Zen Space is my “pause button” when my brain is noisy but I still need to keep going.
In v1.0.9 it comes with a simple, visual breathing routine using the 4-7-8 method:
inhale 4 seconds, hold 7 seconds, exhale 8 seconds.
It’s not a meditation course. It’s a quick reset you can do between two tasks or before a deep work session.
Music module (Apple Music)
Native Apple Music controls now live inside the Island: artwork, progress, and track switching.
I listen to music while working all the time, and I hated context-switching just to pause or skip. This keeps it lightweight and where your eyes already go.
Transfer Station
Your temporary idea warehouse.
Copied text or screenshots get staged in the Island so you can pull them back later—or drag them into any app when you need them. It’s a small change that makes “moving stuff around” feel less annoying.
Smooth scaling
A new UI scaling option to fit different MacBook sizes and personal preferences (including 15-inch models).
Fullscreen auto-hide
When you go fullscreen, InspireDrop gets out of the way automatically. When you exit fullscreen, it comes back.
This is especially nice for non-notch screens and anyone who wants a clean fullscreen view.
Improvements
These aren’t flashy, but they’re the kind of things that determine whether you keep a tool running all day.
